Wrong and right, God marks the divide...

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (Job answered his friend, Bildad, saying...)

2 ... how can a man be in the right before God?

III. Reflection

* QuestionsHow is it that Job was both right and wrong in his rhetorical question above?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me how right Job was when he wondered if a man can be righteous before You. Sin prevented that from happening, and he was so right that righteousness could never be achieved. Man could never be sinless before God no matter how hard he tried. However, I thank You for letting me see that Job was wrong, as he implied that his statement would remain true forever. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point and reminding me that Your shedding of blood has sanctified us —making us right before God (Heb 13:12). O Lord! Having been made right by Your precious sinless blood, please help me to live rightly to reflect Christ being in me every day. Today. Amen
