Toothless paper tiger, useless...

I. Click here to READ Job 4 first.

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (Eliphaz ministering to the sick chastised the sick, saying...)

10 10. The roar of the lion, the voice of the fierce lion,
the teeth of the young lions are broken.
11 11. The strong lion perishes for lack of prey,
and the cubs of the lioness are scattered.

III. Reflection

* QuestionsHow is a paper tiger defined?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me a picture of a paper tiger here where the outward appearance of might no longer has any teeth to support the roaring threat--a condition that leads to self-perishing and ruin. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching that the one might that I need to rely upon is Yours (Ephesians 6:10). O Lord! My might is limited, temporary and continuously decayed. Please go with me today into the world covering me by the might of Your hand. I thank You, Lord, for the security I am having under Your wing (Matt 23:37). Amen
