II. One thing the Bible teaches: (in his deepest physical, emotional, and spiritual pain, Job said about God...)

11

11  God gives me up to the ungodly

and casts me into the hands of the wicked.

12  I was at ease, and He broke me apart;

He seized me by the neck and dashed me to pieces;

 He set me up as His target;

13  His archers surround me...

III. Reflection

* QuestionsWhat would God__the One who wants the best for His children__think when He heard from Job of the above actions attributed to Him?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me know that You firmly declared to Your children that You know the plans You have for them, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give them a future and hope (Jer 29:11). With that best level of care specifically made for them, it must have saddened You so much to hear from Job of all the things he said You did to him (vv 11-13). I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point and assuring me of no worry; You know Your children very clearly (John 10:14), to the point that even when I complain out of frustration or pain, You understand! O Lord! I thank You for Your understanding__"they don't know what they are doing." I pray that I may extend that same understanding to my brothers and sisters. Today. Amen
