* Questions: This above statement from Job sounded very much the same as whose statement when both were confronted with the challenge of trusting in the Lord?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for reminding me of the trusting of Daniel and his friends in the face of death (Daniel 3:17-18), which sounded like that of Job's in his dire situation. I thank You for reminding me that in both situations, You showed Your trusting children Your amazing deliverance. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching about people who do not abandon their faith—they will be saved (Matthew 24:13). O Lord! Please train me to be faithful, to stay with You, and to cling to You in my Gethsemane today. Amen
