The death of the life-Giver...

I. Click here to READ Job 12 first.

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (Job declared, saying...)

10 10 In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of all mankind.

III. Reflection

* QuestionsHow did Job pray when he asked the Lord to kill him previously?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for reminding me that when Job, the man in pain, asked You to grant him a favor to die, he asked You to let loose Your hand (6:9) since he knew his life was in Your hand. More than that, in Your hand, is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. And so he witnessed. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that You, indeed, have the power over all flesh and the power to give eternal life (John 17:2). O Lord! Please remind me that You Yourself are the life-giver who lost His own lifejust because of love for humanity. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving me to the point of dying on the cross for me. Please open up an opportunity for me to tell others about Your death and glorious resurrection. Yes, even today. Amen
