II. One thing the Bible teaches: (In his deepest pain, socially, physically, and emotionally, Job said to God, venting...)

2 I will say to God, ‘Don’t simply condemn me—
tell me the charge you are bringing against me.
3 What do you gain by oppressing me?
Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands,
while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?
4 Are your eyes like those of a human?
Do you see things only as people see them?
5 Is your lifetime only as long as ours?
    Is your life so short
6 that you must quickly probe for my guilt
    and search for my sin?

III. Reflection

* QuestionsWhat did the Lord do or say at His beloved Job's complaints against Him directly?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God, I thank You for reminding me of the deepest pain Job felt. If there is anyone who can feel that pain most accurately, it must be You, Lord, his Maker. I thank You for teaching me that, as his Maker, You fully understood the situation, including why Job said what he said. And with that, You did not react to what You heard from Your beloved Job. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that Your reaction to people's assaulting You and nailing You was forgiveness from an understanding heart (Luke 23:34). O Lord! I thank You for teaching me to pray to forgive others as I have been forgiven. Please train me to practice this. Today. Amen
