7 So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me know that Satan must go out of the presence of You to strike Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. Satan cannot work in Your presence (v7). Period. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching that in Your presence, Satan cannot carry out his plan (Matthew 16:23). O Lord! I thank You for Your promise to be with me always so that the evil one cannot bother me. Amen
