II. One thing the Bible teaches:

1 So the king and Haman went in to feast with Queen Esther. 2 And on the second day, as they were drinking wine after the feast, the king again said to Esther, “What is your wish, Queen Esther? It shall be granted to you. And what is your request? Even to the half of my kingdom, it shall be fulfilled.”

III. Reflection

* QuestionsHow was the sincere intention of the king shown that King Ahasuerus really wanted to help Queen Esther?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that it was the third time in two days the king created opportunities for Queen Esther to let him know what she needed and how she wanted him to help. He really wanted to grant the one he loved what she wished and requested. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching regarding prayingYou really wanted to grant us our prayers, and that was why You told us three consecutive times to ask for what we need, seek what's being lost, and knock on the door we want to be opened (Matthew 7:7). O Lord! I thank You for encouraging me to pray. Please help me remember that You love me and want the best for me, even when I must wait for Your timing. Amen
