10 ... “Since they [the Israelites] began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord, we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed his people, so that we have this large amount left.”

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me see that You chose to bless the priests and the Levites by blessing the people of Israel, even though You could have done so directly. I thank You for showing me that, in exile time, You also wanted to bless Your people Israel by blessing Babylon--the host country that carried Your people into exile (Jeremiah 29:7). I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of the intention of God the Father to bring the blessing of salvation to the entire humanity through His only Son (John 3:16). O Lord! Please make me a channel to flow Your refreshing blessings to many others.  Today. Amen
