God is faithful regardless...

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (Reigning after his father Jehoshaphat, King Jeroham did evil in the sight of the Lord, including the killing of all his 6 brothers and the leading of his people into the whoredom of idol worshiping...)

Yet the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and since he had promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever.

III. Reflection

QuestionsDid the Lord not know of the future Jeroham when He made the covenant with David over 100 years before?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God, I thank You for letting me know that You are the omniscient God. Indeed, at the time of Your making the covenant with David, You knew about the evil king Jeroham before he was born. I thank You for letting me know that You intentionally made the covenant regardless of Jeroham. You had determined that the young, wicked, and evil king would not jeopardize Your plan of salvation through the lineage of David. He did not because You are faithful. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your faithfulness--the faithfulness to forgive me (1 John 1:9). O Lord! You forgive me despite... Please help me forgive others even though... Amen
