III. Reflection

QuestionsOne needs to give credit where credit is due. What credit should King Rehoboam be given in the above passages?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me the strong points that King Rohoboam possessed. He took time to answer when asked the important question and, during this time, he consulted different people by asking them the same question. Unfortunately, the king listened to the wrong group of people, which led him to his downfall! I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your model in seeking the Father's will, not Yours (John 5:30). O Lord! Today, please help me to present to You all the counsels I am given to ask for Your will to be revealed for me, even as it is from one of them. Amen
