Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that Yehu did well in his obedience to You to carry out Your severe judgment that had been forewarned to Ahab and his family. Among Jehu's successes, however, were some stumbling blocks that pulled him and his family down just because he was not careful in his walk with You (v. 31). I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching to be constantly on guard (Luke 21:34). O Holy Spirit! Please go with me today into the world and help me to be careful in my walk with You to avoid the fall from grace, full of humiliation for myself and for my loved ones. Amen
