Blessings from grieving...

I. Click here to READ 2 Samuel 22 first.

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (from the Psalm of deliverance of king David...)

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

III. Reflection

QuestionsWe cannot experience being saved if we did not experience what?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that David could not experience the sense of being saved unless he faced the presence of his enemies and the feeling of being unsafe and terrified that they caused. And there were many in David's life, and You delivered him from them all. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that Your blessings can be found in the poor, the mourner, the hungry, the persecuted, and the insulted (Matthew 5:3-11). O Lord! Please help me know that life while on earth will not be without troubles. Today, please help me be grateful to You for being with me in those troubling times. Amen
