* Questions: Was there a difference between a murder of 1 and a murder of the entire 18 sons of David? How could there be such a discrepancy?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God: I thank You for letting me see such a huge difference between the murder of 1 and the murder of the entire 18 sons of David. The report was targeted to bring harm to David emotionally as well as physically. I thank You for reminding me that insensitive and intentionally wrongful reporting existed then and is everywhere in our time today through social media. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your instruction that in the last days, people will spread incorrect rumors about Christ being here or there (Matthew 24:23). O Lord! Help me today to be aware of such intentional efforts of disinformation. Please help me to fight back by being prayerful and Biblically watchful. Amen.
