* Questions: Why was David's proof of a small piece of fabric so conclusive that Saul had no argument against?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me how respectful David was to the anointed one of the Lord, even though he himself was also anointed. Being anointed was never misused by David as a reason to act and behave otherwise. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that You have the proof that is indisputable when it comes to salvation. The salvation that You have completed to save humanity from eternal damnation. That proof is on Your crucified body (John 20:27). Today, Lord, please help me to be merciful to others even when they may deserve to be treated otherwise. Please help me to respect those who show respect for You, as David did. Amen

O Lord Jesus. Today, I pray for certain readers to accept the proof of Your salvation--the proof of love. May they stop debating, religiously. May they be moved by Your sacrifice, lovingly, to start enjoying a life of peace and hope in You. Today. Amen
