IV. Application

Dear Lord God, thank You for showing me that although it is my choice not to do what I can, it is not my choice at all when it comes to the consequences of such decisions. These would impact me and the generations to come, just as they did for the Israelites. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of the decision the prodigal son made and his humiliated and near-fatal consequences (Luke 15:11-16). Holy Spirit, today, please help me remember that You do give me the freedom to make choices. Please remind me, however, to always pray earnestly for Your guidance in making those choices. Please forgive my errors, accidental or mostly intentional. Amen
