Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me that You designed a process for us to go through, and it works as You intended it to do — aging. You kept Joshua serving, but You changed his job. Not defying the aging process, the battle-fighting General Joshua transitioned graciously to being the land Distributor to his people. I thank You,  Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that as the salvation of humanity demanded, You Yourself transitioned from God to man—from the Son of God to the Son of man (Mark 8:31), gracefully. Today, please help me to accept life's changes with a pleasant attitude. Please help me to know that You know best what is suitable for me in each stage of my life. Amen
