6 Moreover, the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. 

III. Reflection

* Questions: Can we love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul by ourselves, naturally? How?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God, I thank you for showing me Your greatest commandment: to love the Lord with all my heart and with all my soul. I thank You even more when I realized that Your greatest commandment comes with Your promised enabling — my heart needs to be surgically corrected by You, spiritually. Clearly, this is something I cannot do by myself. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me about Your word: "It's the Father, living in Me, who is doing His work." (John 14:10). Today I pray, Holy Spirit, please do Your work using me. Amen

Today, I pray for certain readers who are yet to return to You. Please have mercy and, by Your enabling, lead them to You to be in Your sheepfold. Because, O Lord Jesus, on their own power, they cannot return to You. Amen
