Of Him, obey Him...

II. One thing the Bible teaches
9 Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying, “Be silent and listen, O Israel! This day you have become a people for the Lord your God. 10 You shall therefore obey the Lord your God, and do His commandments and His statutes which I command you today.”
III. Reflection
* Questions: How would one know that a people is a people for the Jehovah God?
IV. Application
Dear Lord God, I thank You for revealing Your clear definition of being Your people. That is obeying You through actions. Period. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of the costly obedience that must be paid when Mary willingly accepted the news from the angel regarding her virgin birth (Luke 1:38). O Holy Spirit, today, please forgive and help my disobedience. I do want to be Your people. Amen
