III. Reflection
* Questions: Why?
IV. Application:
Dear Lord God, I thank You for helping me find my true security in life--not in success, not in health, not in wealth, not in weapons, not in guardsmen. Despite my being bad, it is Your faithfulness, loving kindnesses, and compassion, which is new every morning (Lam 3:23). Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that You love Your own children until the end (John 13:1), which, as far as You are concerned, there is no end. O Lord! Please help me know that You will discipline me, as needed, but You will never abandon me because blood is still thicker than water. Amen
Today, I pray for certain readers who are yet to be Your people. I pray that they will believe and receive salvation as a result of Your death on the cross. Being part of Your household gives true security in life. Amen
