II. One thing the Bible teaches

20 “When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What do the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments mean which the Lord our God commanded you?’ 21 then you shall say to your son ‘We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us from Egypt with a mighty hand. 22 Moreover, the Lord showed great and distressing signs and wonders before our eyes against Egypt, Pharaoh and all his household; 23 He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.’"

III. Reflection

QuestionsWhat happens if our beloved ones never ask?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing us how to answer the question from our loved ones in the family regarding the practice of our faith today, although in different forms. It has always been about Your delivering us and working in our lives. O Lord, please help me to be prepared for this most important moment of sharing You with my beloved ones- something that will affect their lives into eternity. But what happens if such a question is never asked? Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for taking me to this point to gently ask me to consider the possibility that (1) my spiritual light may have been extinguished, or (2) it may have not been shining well, or (3) perhaps I never truly practice my faith in my family (Matthew 5:15-16) to the point to cause my beloved ones to wonder. Please help me, Lord Jesus, to adjust my life to be a gospel spreader in my family. First. Amen
