He knows all! That is fearful...

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (The Israelites, having feared death upon meeting God directly, asked Moses to relay God's message to them; they promised to listen to and to do it. Moses said to them...)
28 The Lord heard you when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, “I have heard what this people said to you. Everything they said was good. 29 Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
III. Reflection
* Questions: What was good but actually for nothing?
IV. Application:
Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me clearly that You see things inwardly and value things from the heart. You also assess words without deeds to be of no value, especially in spiritual matters (Isaiah 29:13). O Lord Jesus! Please help me to have fear for You by knowing that You know everything (1 John 3:20)--inside or outside, seen or unseen, concrete or abstract, intentional or accidental, in one's heart or on one's lips, public or confidential, etc. Yes, Lord Jesus, help me to practice fearing You today, starting with little things first. Today. Amen
