Be a gift, not a burden...

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (The Lord was instructing Aaron about his responsibilities in the ministry regarding the Tabernacle...)
6 Behold, I Myself have taken your fellow Levites from among the sons of Israel; they are a gift to you, dedicated to the Lord, to perform the service for the tent of meeting.
III. Reflection
* Questions: There are plenty of things being used as gifts. Can you recall a situation when a gift was a person?
IV. Application:
Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me that the work to maintain and operate the Tabernacle was tremendously involved and demanding. And You knew that and that You supplied the needed help--the Levites; they are a gift to Aaron. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that I must live so that people would see me as a gift from You to their ministry, not a burden. May this gift cause people to give thanks, and bring glory, to my Father in heaven (Philippians 1:3-5; Matt 5:16). Amen
O Lord Jesus, God the Son! I pray for certain readers today to know that You are the precious gift from God the Father. May God the Holy Spirit lead them to the receiving of the gift to have eternal life, beginning today. Amen
