II. One thing the Bible teaches:
1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had married a Cushite woman); 2 and they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us as well?” And the Lord heard it.
III. Reflection
* Questions: The Scripture passage above contains one of the names of God. What is that name?
IV. Application:
Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me that Your name reflects Your divine nature--You are the living God; You are the Lord who hears (Gen 16:11). Not only do You hear our prayers, but You also hear the talks from our mouths. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your teaching that I speak from what fills my heart (Luke 6:45), and You do hear it, good and bad. O Lord! Today, please fill my heart with love, joy, goodness, gentleness, and meekness of the Holy Spirit so that my talks will bring glory to Your Name. Amen
