II. One thing the Bible teaches: ()
22 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them: The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’
III. Reflection
* Questions: What did the Lord instruct Aaron to do? To someone who speaks well, was it really necessary?
IV. Application:
Dear Lord God: Although You knew Aaron as someone who spoke well (Exodus 4:14), You still taught him how to say things properly and acceptably. I thank You, God, for showing me that Aaron wasn't so prideful. The eloquent Aaron humbly learned to say what You want him to say. And his people were blessed as a result! I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that You expected me to have the same teachable and learning attitude as a follower of Yours (Matthew 11:29). O Lord! Please do not give up teaching me. Please help me to have a spirit of learning from others. Every day. Amen
