I. Click here to READ Numbers 5 first.

II. One thing the Bible teaches(when his wife commits undetectable adultery or the husband is jealous because of the suspicion that he has about his wife's fidelity...)

15 the man shall then bring his wife to the priest, and shall bring as an offering for her one-tenth of an ephah of barley meal; he shall not pour oil on it nor put frankincense on it, for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of memorial, a reminder of iniquity...

III. Reflection

Questions: What can go into the following blanks to describe today's reminder of iniquity ____ ____ ____?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God, I thank You for teaching me that there was an established offering as a reminder of a person's sin for Your people of Israel back then. Sin cannot be neglected. It was either be forgiven or be reminded to repent.  I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me that today, not only am I reminded of my sin, but also I am convicted of my sin by the Holy Spirit (John 16:8). O God, Holy Spirit! Please help me to be sensitive and responsive to Your work in my life to repent. Today. Amen
