Bear a grudge against someone... Don't!

I. Click here to READ Leviticus 11 first.

II. One thing the Bible teaches: (on the various rules and restrictions regarding what the Israelites can and cannot eat and, if they happen to eat those or touch them, they shall be...)

24 ... unclean until the evening, 25 ... unclean until the evening... 27 ... unclean until the evening, 28 ... unclean until the evening...  31 ... unclean until the evening. 32 ... unclean until the evening... 39 ... unclean until the evening, 40 ... unclean until the evening... unclean until the evening.

III. Reflection

Questions: Is there anything worth giving thanks for in the verses as shown above?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me that there were altogether 9 times in this chapter that Your Word emphasizes that regardless of what prohibited things one eats or drinks or touches, the uncleanliness that was involved can only last for so long. Until the evening, the uncleanliness expires. Until the evening, the required social separation because of the uncleanliness no longer exists. I thank You, Lord, for taking me to this point to remind me of Your Word that even with the anger or grudges, I must not bear grudges or be angry against my brothers and sisters until sunset (Ephesians 4:26). O Lord! Please help me not to hold grudges against anybody, as Your Word instructed me to do. May people see Christ in me and not anger in my heart. Amen
