II. One thing the Bible teaches: (When Moses told the Israelites all the words of the Lord and His rules for them, the people responded with one voice, saying...)

3 ... “All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.”

7 Then he [Moses} took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”

III. Reflection

* Questions: What is the difference in the Israelites' responses?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me the big difference between the Israelites' first and last response. It was obedience. To do Your words is quite different from to do and to obey. And You are pleased with obedience from Your children (1 Sam 15:22). O God! Please help me to do Your instructions in obedience and with gladness. Today. Amen
