II. One thing the Bible teaches: (The Lord told Moses to go to Pharaoh to bring God's people out of Egypt and out of slavery...)

11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” 12 He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

III. Reflection

Questions: What did Moses ask God? What did God answer Moses?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that You heard Moses' question for You about his level compared to the king of Egypt to demand him to do anything. I thank You for showing me that You did not answer Moses' question because it wasn't about him and Pharaoh. You reminded Moses that it was about Pharaoh and You. And so, You acknowledged Moses' true concern by assuring him that Your presence will be with him throughout the entire mission--"But I will be with you" (v12). O God! As I go through my life today with many anxieties, difficulties, and worries for myself, my loved ones, my health, and my community of faith, please let me hear from You, "But I will be with you." May I be assured by Your presence. That is more than enough for me. Amen

I pray for certain readers who do not yet know You to appreciate Your presence in their lives. Please let them find You in their difficulties and be at peace. Today. Amen
