II. One thing the Bible teaches(The eighth plague came after Pharaoh refused to let God's  people go. And it went away after Pharaoh, as usual, confessed his sin...)

13 So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord directed an east wind on the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts . . . 19 So the Lord shifted the wind to a very strong west wind which took up the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea; not one locust was left in all the territory of Egypt.

III. Reflection

QuestionsHow did the locusts come to and go from the land of Egypt?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that the locusts neither came to nor went away from the land of Egypt. They were brought to the land and they were taken away from the land. O Lord God! It was You who directed the east wind to do Your will. And it was also You who shifted the west wind to accomplish Your will concerning the locust's plague. You actively orchestrated the whole event. I confess that You are the Almighty God. I thank You, Lord, for taking me to this point to remind me that the Lord Jesus calmed the sea. The Lord Jesus rebuked the wind. The Lord Jesus commanded the wind (Luke 8:25). And the Lord Jesus--the Immanuel--is with us now. I worship You. I pray that today with my small faith I will not be afraid to pray for something big to happen. You are the Almighty God. Amen

I pray for certain readers who have been against believing You. I pray that today is the day You will calm the beating wind in their doubtful hearts so that they can hear Your calling them to become the sheep of Your flock. Amen
