 16 So Judah said, “What can we say to my lord? What can we speak? And how can we justify ourselves? God has found out the iniquity of your servants; behold, we are my lord’s slaves, both we and the one in whose possession the cup has been found.”

III. Reflection

* Questions: When Judad said, "God has found out the iniquity of your servants," what iniquity was he talking about? Was it about the "stolen" silver cup? Was it about the selling away of Joseph and lying about his death all these 22 years?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God: Thank You for taking me to this point to remind me that regarding unrepented sin, no matter how long ago it was committed, You knew about it all along--it could not be hidden! However, for the repented sin, you will surely forgive and remember it no more (Heb 8:12). O Holy Spirit! Today please show me my sin and convict me to repent. Amen. O God! If certain readers need to be convicted of their sins, please remind them that You knew it all along and are ready to forgive them. Today. Amen
