* Questions: What kind of problem was there in Noah's world? How widespread and severe was the problem? 

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God: I thank You for showing me that Noah's world was full of wickedness. The problem was widespread from outside into the very thoughts of a person's heart--everyone. I thank You for taking me to this point and showing me that all lived wickedly; all behaved evilly. All but one. It was Noah who found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

O God! It was not impossible for Noah not to be of the world. It was possible for Noah to stand firm in his faith despite the world's temptation and persecution. O God! Please help me live like Noah, Your leftover, Your remnant, part of the world. Amen
