You are the Potter I am the clay...

II. One thing the Bible teaches:

then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

III. Reflection

Questions: Who took the dust? Who formed the man? Whose breath was used to start the man's life?

IV. Application:

Dear Father God: I thank You for reminding me that it was You who took the dust--You did not assign the task to anyone else! It was You who formed the man from the dust--You did not assign anyone else to the task! And it was Your breath of life--not a substitute--that was breathed into man's nostril to give him the very first breath.

I thank You, Lord, for showing me that You personally intervene in my life according to Your way. You intentionally formed me and shaped me according to Your will. O God! Please help me live in such a manner that I will not dare to question Your way and Your will in my life. Please remind me that You are the Potter and I am the clay. You are the shaper of my life, physically, and spiritually. May I reflect the work of Your hand. Today. Amen
