II. One thing the Bible teaches: (Job answered his friends, saying...)

9 But if I go east, He is not there;
    or west, I cannot perceive Him;
10 The north enfolds Him, and I cannot catch sight of Him;
    The south hides Him, and I cannot see Him.
10 11 Yet He knows my way;

III. Reflection

* QuestionsIf Job could not find the Lord before him, behind him, on his left, or on his right—yet the Lord saw his way all along—where could He have been?

IV. Application

Dear Lord God,

I thank You for helping me understand that when Job could not find You before him or behind him, on his left or on his right—yet You saw his every step all along—You must have been "above" himabove on high and highly above.

I thank You, Lord Jesus, for bringing me to this realization and reminding me that although we could never find our own way to the Father, You came to find us and made a way for us to come to Him—the only way (John 14:6).

O Lord, I thank You for finding me and for keeping me continually in Your sight. Please help me to live in a manner that honors You, knowing that You see me, hear me, and know me completely.

Amen.
