Do or Die...

II. One thing the Bible teaches(Moses was talking to Aaron and his sons...)

34 The Lord has commanded us to do as has been done this day, to make atonement on your behalf. 35 At the doorway of the tent of meeting, moreover, you shall remain day and night for seven days and fulfill your duty to the Lord, so that you will not die; for so I have been commanded.

III. Reflection

QuestionsWas cleansing the priests' sins done privately or publicly? Was it done quickly, or was it a prolonged process?

IV. Application:

Dear Lord God, I thank You for showing me that, as everyone else does, the priest needs the cleansing of sins. The process of cleaning the priest's sins was not only done publicly--at the doorway of the tent of meeting but also in a prolonged way--seven days so that everyone could take notice of it. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking me to this point to remind me of the required humility of a spiritual leader (1 Timothy 1:15). Today, O Lord! Please remind me to pray often for my spiritual leaders. Bless them to live humbly and to complete the duty You assigned to them fully. Please let them realize that their life depends on it. Amen
